How to carrier unlock a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra? - Kalvaxas - Feb 22, 2024

My Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is carrier locked to AT&T on an installment plan. I'm traveling overseas for a few weeks, and I need to buy a SIM to use for this phone, since I'd rather not buy a cheap phone just to use overseas. Paying off the plan wouldn't make sense since I only pay $6 a month for it due to promotional credits. If I pay it off early, that $6 goes up to $40+ a month.

It's the snapdragon model for what it's worth. Not Exynos. I'd even be down to try to social engineer AT&T to unlock it for me, but even with a great prompt to follow, I doubt they'd even consider it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

At least here in Canada, you can go to prety much any phone store and they have unlocking services. I know for Android it's much more simple than iPhones.
