What's your definition of success? Has it changed over time? - Deany - Feb 24, 2024 QOTD: What's your definition of success? Has it changed over time? For me, lots of monies. RE: What's your definition of success? Has it changed over time? - Charlie Sheen - Feb 24, 2024 Make enough money that you never stress, all bills on autopay. Everything paid off, no car payments or house payments and a happy and healthy family. RE: What's your definition of success? Has it changed over time? - Kalvaxas - Feb 24, 2024 Honestly, my definition of success is pretty simple, though achieving it is not. In order for me to feel successful, I wouldn't ever have to decline to go somewhere because of financial issues or work schedules. I'd want the flexibility and financial stability to be able to go to family events or go on vacation with friends that ask me, even if that meant taking work on the go. Also, what Charlie Sheen said. All bills on autopay. Everything paid off. A happy and healthy family. Though the first part of what I typed would make me feel successful. The rest would be an eventual added bonus. RE: What's your definition of success? Has it changed over time? - Euaggelistes - Feb 24, 2024 Strong relationships with others. Learning how to deal with reality and not "should be" or "should have". Everything else mentioned is nice, but not a necessity for success. RE: What's your definition of success? Has it changed over time? - an4l 1st - Feb 24, 2024 Success is an inevitable result of the individual who knows him/herself well enough and effectively applies this knowledge in order to control him/herself during the necessary amount of time to achieve a certain state. So yes, success is temporary. The glory is forever, where glory is the memory the individual has from being successful in the past. RE: What's your definition of success? Has it changed over time? - Omniscient - Feb 24, 2024 Success now is waking up every day and going to bed every night. So yeah, for me that's changed. I guess I'm past the "get rich" phase. Not that I don't worry about money or that I'm rich. Just that now I don't want to spend my days trying to obtain it. Success is really just being able to do what you want, when you want, for me at least. RE: What's your definition of success? Has it changed over time? - 2xTheTap115 - Feb 26, 2024 For me, the definition of success is simply being happy, and this never changed in my case. For me, the greatest success is that I get up in the morning and have another interesting day ahead of me, that my loved ones are okay, healthy and smiling. No material possessions or professional successes can replace this. RE: What's your definition of success?
