Hack WiFi in Android - Nemo5 - Mar 5, 2024

Hello everyone,

before I ask my question, I need to make it clear that I have the necessary router owner permissions as part of a bet.

My question:
How can I hack the WiFi password from my cell phone (Android)?

I can't use brute force because the password is not only complex but also cryptic.

How can I proceed? Maybe I need to check for vulnerabilities in the WiFi? If yes, how can I do that?

Kind regards and thank you very much

You've already lost the bet, not least because you can't hack WiFi from an unrooted Android device. A quick search here will tell you that. Best bet is to trick the owner into giving it to you or stealing the PSK from one of his devices.

Thank you for your answer. And from a rooted Android phone I can only hack WiFi password using WPS attacks?

From an unrooted phone, you can try WPS cracking apps. I just don't count such an old attack. Have you yourself owned a router with WPS PIN?

From an unrooted phone? I tried Zanti, but it didn't work for me.

How can I hack WiFi in a rooted phone? What kinds of options count you?

I never owned a router.

There I go, being insensitive to the less privileged.

I've tried getting monitor mode working on my Android but concluded that it would require a lot of work and very likely a custom kernel. It's not worth the effort over something like a Pwnagotchi, and you'll need a computer with a dedicated GPU for cracking passwords, regardless. Plus, WPA3 launched nearly six years ago and makes offline password cracking impossible.

Thank you so much for this helpful information. I appreciate it. If I have any question I wanna to ask you, if you allow me. :)
