Thanks Personally i would consider the use case and in this case your wanting website to host your panel therefor, if its just one web panel i would say openvz would be best option unless like other user mentioned your wanting to isolate the particular vm with more efficiency. See the following for good example of breakdown on how and which kernel you should use. Use Case: Consider your specific use case. For example, OpenVZ might be suitable for hosting multiple web applications with similar requirements, while KVM might be more appropriate for running diverse workloads. Isolation Requirements: If strong isolation is crucial, especially in a multi-tenant environment, KVM might be a better choice. Resource Efficiency: If you need to maximize resource efficiency and run many similar lightweight instances, OpenVZ might be more efficient. Operating System Support: Consider the operating systems you plan to run. If you need flexibility in terms of OS choices, KVM might be more suitable. RE: Best Virtualization for Apache on Centos - Palac10 - Mar 7, 2024 Thanks for the replies guys. @__Digital__ If I understand you properly, KVM's main advantages are its ability to host multiple isolated OS instances and running multiple workloads at the same time.
