It really sucked. I was the only person interested enough that would have spent time to update it to but the secondary owners that bought it just scammed and ran.

It was a really unique product, the C2C server being self hosted as a TOR site was ingenious for functionality. If you do not need speed but just persistent acess it worked pretty great. I tested it legacy on a windows 10 pc fully updated and the protect application function still works to be a system level admin. The devs really slept on a huge financial opportunity for gov clients. A few changes here and there and one could of have a serious nation state project.

To get it running now you need todo the normal cracked installer on a dirt box pc, then swap out the old tor.exe for the new one in the current browser bundle so that the self hosted function works again. Then you want to use this exe swap tool to bind to your stub to change out the exe on the client when it gets installed. (Unless someone wants to be a homie and update the builder tool and update the dependencies in the stub. I asked for help from andmuchmore but he didnt finish it.)

Overall bitrat was fantastic as a product. Wish the devs would come back and make some subtle updates. Likely never will. Wish the original dev would log in on hf and message me back after these years. The uploads on github are so far from actual source code like good luck on fixing that thing.
