Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

(Sousou no Frieren)

One of my favorite anime is probably Mushishi.
What I like about it, it isn't centered about one character or goal, it's a journey where you get to meet a lot of people and have several adventures.
Unlike this anime, Mushishi has a theme called "Iyashikei"
Quote:The Japanese word "iyashi" (癒し) means healing, and the term "iyashikei" refers to anime and manga that "heal" the audience by instilling a calming feeling or evoking emotional catharsis. Almost always, Iyashikei stories have peaceful, somewhat mundane, and nostalgic atmospheres. The settings are idyllic with little or no conflict, and the narratives focus on personal reflection, heartwarming moments, a vague sense of melancholy, and/or an appreciation for the small things in life.

I believe this anime should also have this theme, not to mention I personally loved it.
The Journey is already over, the Demon king is defeated yet we are to embark on another one.
but this one, the adventure is more about discovering yourself.

28 episodes, I watched it first episode when it started airing and kept going until it finished.
I got emotional, I laughed, I got goosebumps and overall, I enjoyed it a lot.

It's was a great and unique experience, I suggest you try it as well.
Or maybe that's just me, in the end I'm a sucker for Fantasy shows & anime. ✌

Absolutely well done show. 28 episodes of goodness. 9/10. Crossing fingers for a second season and more!

Very good series, but ngl I was expecting way more from the show with it being so insanely high rated and maintaining MAL rank 1 for so long.

Tbf, I was not expecting serious battles or serious tones that much. I thought it'd be more of a iyashikei type of story.

But yes I expected a bit more to the story and was close to giving it an 8, but I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I've been meaning to get to this one. Easily the most talked about/hyped anime this year.

Started a few days ago. Only like episode 3 or 4 but good so far.
