Lenovo Thinkpad can't save bios - bob123123123 - Apr 9, 2024
Hey I'm trying to turn off secure boot on a Lenovo laptop. Once I have it off and I try to save the bios I get four popups saying write protected. I've seen password protected bios's before but not write protected ones. I can't seem to find anything online. Is there a way to shut that off or allow bios saving? Thanks.

This isn't hacking related. This belongs in Computing Lounge.

Sorry and thanks. I couldn't figure out how to move it so I literally just made a new post in the lounge. Any chance you could tell me how to delete it that way it doesn't look like I'm posting twice? Thanks.
