How do I begin hacking? - deadray - Apr 10, 2024
I'm interested into hacking as i want to work into cybersecurity. I don't know where to start hacking, do yall have a website or youtube channel that kind of teach you in a fluid way (meaning from easier to harder)?

You can go through this guide: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=6263412. It should get you started to becoming an amateur pentester. Anyone can do bug bounties, so I suggest going that route.

Do you know Linux? How to use a terminal? Coding helps also. Hack the box.com is a great resource also.

i would also recommend hack the box. try hack the box academy, you get 2 modules for free and the other ones also arent too expensive

yes i know kali and will do stuff on raspbian, i do code and thanks for the ressource

I would recommend tryhackme, learning about operatings systems (xv6 is great with the book), linux in general. Also C of course and networking basics. Then, after you know these basics you can slowly start tearing things apart
