Are there outlets for games like there are for clothes etc? Sick of spending 70 USD for every new game

When it comes to new games and especially if buying them on console, I imagine it would be pretty difficult finding a way to get them for any cheaper than their normal price. If it was on PC than there are sites where you can always get codes a bit cheaper, but nothing crazy for new games or that I've seen. One option used to be buying AGC from people at 70-80% for instance and then buying Xbox/PS codes on Amazon with them so you're technically getting that same discount on the games you buy with the codes. However in the past half year, maybe closer to a year, Amazon has stopped allowing people to buy cards/codes like that with AGC it seems. Sucks :/

There's many key re-seller website similar to deals.gg. If you look under the keyshop section on a game you have selected you'll find the cheaper options. You can also check out humblebundle.com, g2a.com, allkeyshop.com, and of course isthereanydeal.com.

I don't think it's against the rules to mention them, but I could def be wrong. Guess you may indeed find out haha. As for those kinds of sites, do they normally have codes for brand new games that can be redeemed on consoles? I'm sure they right away sell accounts with the game on there, but obviously people would often want to have the game on their own account via a code. I feel like it's surely not nearly as much of a thing for codes to be available for the game right away on consoles versus PC.

Buckle in as games are only going to get more expensive as time goes on haha. I'm still just pissed that Amazon made it so you can't buy Xbox, PS, and PC codes with AGC. That was the little workaround so to speak that many people did to save money when it came to buying shit on their platform of choice.

I can't believe they did that, it's ridiculous. I honestly don't buy games anymore. I JUST got xbox game pass for myself and that's the closest thing I've gotten to buying a game in a LONG time. š¤£

I did some research after I noticed they changed it and I guess they already did it in the past at some point too as well as then lifted it later on. Saw some people saying that support mentioned they may do the same again in the future. I'm not holding my breath though. Was awesome being able to buy AGC for 70-80% and then use that to buy digital codes / gift cards for whatever and in turn saving 20-30% on those as well. Lame as hell, but I guess I get why they may have done it. No doubt it isn't lost on them that people get hella AGC in various shady/scummy/illegal ways and then sell them for cheaper. Maybe it was them wanting to restrict just how much could be done with them from there or maybe it was pushback from these companies the codes/cards are for. Who knows.

Is it common for them to have codes for console games and right away? I feel like it wouldn't be versus PC. Wasn't sure if you guys have seen first hand that it's just as much of a thing for console or if you're just assuming it is.
