Best Free Remote Desktop Software for Windows? - Slumerican ⚡︎ - Apr 16, 2024
Hey guys, I'm looking for a reliable free remote desktop software for Windows. I've been using TeamViewer and AnyDesk for the past 10 years, but I've been experiencing some difficulties with the new updates, so I'm considering trying out some new options. I recently tried Chrome Remote Desktop, which was recommended by some of my colleagues. I also tested Ultraviewer briefly. I wanted to start a discussion on which remote desktop software you use and prefer for a stable connection and full access features on a free plan. Thank you.

Here are some popular free remote desktop software options for Windows:
Chrome Remote Desktop: This is a simple and easy-to-use tool that allows you to remotely access your computer from another device using the Chrome browser. It is known for its reliability and ease of use.
UltraViewer: This is another popular remote desktop software that offers a free plan with full access features. It is known for its fast connection speeds and user-friendly interface.
Microsoft Remote Desktop: This is a built-in remote desktop tool for Windows that allows you to access your computer from another device over a network connection. It is a reliable and secure option for remote access.
AnyDesk: While you mentioned experiencing difficulties with AnyDesk in the past, it is still a popular and widely used remote desktop software known for its fast connection speeds and ease of use.
Ultimately, the best remote desktop software for you will depend on your specific needs and preferences. It may be worth trying out a few different options to see which one works best for you.
