Why many expected BTC to Soar near or at the halving date? BTC hasn't done anything around or at the date.

I'm not sure I believe in following past charts but I believe in the past after each halving, BTC would hurt a little and then skyrocket.

i remember last halving being the same, nothing ever happens on halving but people always seem to get super excited for it lol
but overall i think the general consensus is, after a halving miner costs go up, therefore the value of the asset must increase
haven't looked at the chart in years but you could use glassnode to see similarities in when miners start sell/hold their bitcoin

BTC essentially follow a 4 year cycle; prices expected to continue to rise due to the halving, BTC ETFs, and general interest arising again.

Historically BTC Halvening has been a flat event. Remember that 6 months ago BTC was at $30k. It hit a new ATH $73k about 6 weeks ago.
That's exactly what BTC has done every Halvening. If the pattern persists which I think it will. We can dip to $40-50k in the coming weeks, many will say Bitcoin is dead and then in 3-6 months the real bull run begins and in 18-24 months we peak at what I estimate will be around $420k.
Then it dips to drastically low prices, we wait for new Halvening and bull market again in 4 more years.

Investors, miners, etc, price these events in ahead of time. You don't see any significant changes during the event, but you usually see gradual changes in the build up to these events, and then the longer term implications begin revealing themselves ~6-12 months after these events take place.

I see. BTC still has a lot of momentum to the upside. A coin that's fundamentally driven, I'll be watching for what's to come in the crypto space, and see how many more institutions will jump into the crypto world.

That fake war will be use to spread fear and manipulate entire stock & crypto market until blackrock fully control entire bitcoin stocks which will happen very soon with that speed.From now on btc halving etc. these are just bullshit not important events we need to talk about world leaders,wars,zionism.I really want to hear USA citizens and how biden actively don't give single fuck about anything about them because he is zionist(for them anyone who not Jew is live stock).Right now if they want they can crash price to like 10k$ without single issue because it is highly centralized by couple people(pretty sure they have minimum 1 million bitcoins right now).I cannot see single future for bitcoin its just another fairy tale it will be stock market v2 but worst part is we wont able to track them like stock market.
Hopefully this will be my last cycle for my me because from now on manipulation level will not fit any logic none of these charts or support level will work.Only one word will be enough to crash it or pump it, they are already in control.

BTC has historically had bullish runs post-halving. However, just become something moved that way in the past doesn't mean that it will for a certain the next time.
