Any advices with Ghidra? - happygonutty - May 15, 2024 Hi there my friends! Since I am an old dog I stick with what I know. The past 2 to 3 years, I have been videos about Ghidra which is an NSA tool that they have released publicly and letting people learn how to use it. Until this day I still stick with the old tools of the trade which are Ollydbg, IDA and other old school tools from 2008 below. 😎 I know this could easily be done with Google but fuck articles. I don't trust articles sometimes and I prefer a real actual person telling me their own personal perception about things. Anyway, any of you would be interested helping out this old dog why should I give Ghidra a chance? Thanks. 🙃 RE: Any advices with Ghidra? - SIM-3364521 - May 18, 2024 I think its becoming a pretty competitive alternative to IDA. Also what I love about Ghidra is that you can set up a team server and essentially share your fixes and type defs you make with your team working on the same binary. It being Java based is a pro and a con. Its cross platform by default, but also not as fast as some other tools. Also the debugger is not really great. But i don't mind running r2 or gdb separately for debugging. Does it have other feature aside team features or sharing features to work mates? 🙃 |
