COD Nazi Zombies For Web Browser - Lil Buddy - May 18, 2024
Not sure if anyone here knows about this but recently a group of modders put together a browser version of nazi zombies that anyone can play in your browser, and it even has a multiplayer mode. Its actually pretty neat heres a link to the site.

Sad, but true. On one hand I can't blame them since it's their property, but on the other hand I don't realistically see it as hurting them so it is quite dumb.

Yeah. They're old games have insane exploits that they won't fix, but they got rid of old cod games like sm2 that was being developed.

It's unfortunate. I've seen a couple of promising projects in the past that they shut down. Hate to see it.

Kinda gets me more excited for BO6 zombies. Back to round based which is great imo.

I'll be honest, I didn't play zombies much back in the day. I was a major halo player back then. I did play cod 4, mw2, mw3, bo1 and bo2. Bo2 was my favorite but just play multiplayer to reach and then hack to max prestige. I did enjoy cold war a lot

Kind of right there with you. Was always more multiplayer oriented. I played a bit of the older round based zombies here and there though and then I also played some of the more open world stuff that they did with cold war I want to say. Round based zombies > any other kind imo.

Yeah that makes sense for sure. I did also play around with the modded zombie lobbies in cold war. I even hosted a few lobbies on my laptop to help a few friends or players with weapon xp and such. It was fun. I even enjoyed doing closet cheat stuff, like give everyone unlimited ammo that was fun.

Ahh yeah I remember messing with some glitches / mods back in the old school zombies days. Tons of fun honestly.

I have seen multiple of those "x game in the browser" especially old games.
I still remember a friend of mine telling me how JavaScript has an API for WebGL and how it's looking like future games can literally be ran in the browsers if developers decide to.
Read about it for a bit, it still blows my mind things like this are possible but overall, I don't see game development moving in that direction at all.
