Wife just had our 3rd kid, I'm starting a business, and my life has purpose - Handsome - Jun 20, 2024
I know this is a little different than what is normally bragged about in this section. Before the birth of our first, I was lost. I was not a man, to say the least, but a boy. My father passed away and 364 days later my son was born, and then my first daughter, and now my family has continued to grow as my 2nd daughter was born last Tuesday. I'm in my early 30s, and my family has grown so much, I've grown so much, I'm nothing like the man I was 5-6 years ago. These kids literally gave my life purpose.
I've met a lot of people, learning a lot of things, and while things aren't perfect, I have hope that they'll get better. I am currently contracting with a company that is not doing so well, it won't fail, it's too big to fail, but my 3 year contract ends in April and I don't foresee things changing for me. So, I've decided to leap headfirst into starting a firearms training company. The plan is to offer CCW courses as they are low hour/high pay, if I can pull it off.
Things are changing in my life, I'm making big moves and it's a little scary, but I have put all my faith in God and so far, all the struggle I've been given has brought me to this moment.
If you pray, pray for me, if you don't pray, wish me well. I don't do anything for myself anymore, but for my three beautiful babies.

Hey, congratulations on the birth of your second daughter! It sounds like you've been on quite a journey over the past few years. It's incredible how much our lives can change, especially when kids come into the picture. They really do have a way of giving our lives new purpose and direction.
Starting your own business, especially something as specialized as a firearms training company, is a big step, but it sounds like you've thought it through and have a solid plan.
