Good survival games? - Calmbot - Jun 25, 2024
obviously we would exclude things like Minecraft and well known ones I was just wondering if there was any I havent discovered.
(some games ive already played include the forest and green hell)

Valheim for sure! Then, Ark Survival evolved, and Space Engineers (has a learning curve, get past it then you won't ever stop playing)

the forest in a little old but its still a very good game, you should play both.

All are great survival games, I would add Subnautica to the list.

if you tried the forest maybe try sons of the forest, the story was kinda short but personally i still liked the game.

Do you have a preference towards if it's single player? Multiplayer? If the latter, with or without PvP? Anything else you lean towards?

Playing it with other people takes away from the whole scariness I like the games where the only human in the game is you because it makes you feel alone like your trapped with whatever there could be.

That's fair I think. Playing with other people can add a lot to the experience, but having it be scary isn't one of them. Being completely on your own is the way to go if you're wanting as much of that as possible, 100%.

I mean if i am gonna play a horror game with friends i would play something like phasmapobia not extremely scary but it adds alot so you can mess around and have fun with your friends like repeatedly yelling the ghosts name until it has enough ðŸ˜

Exactly. Something that may be "scary", but is like "fun scary" if that makes sense. Phasmophobia, Content Warning, and games like that basically.
