Anyone else dealing with forgotten passwords? - Burnzy - Jul 20, 2024 It goes something like this
RE: Anyone else dealing with forgotten passwords? - TooBurnt - Jul 20, 2024 It’s 2024 you would think we would be able to use biometrics or something… RE: Anyone else dealing with forgotten passwords? - Justin - Jul 20, 2024 It's time to jump on a password manager. Best decision of my life. Bitwarden is either open-source or very often audited by security analysts etc and is the best I've seen recommended, especially over LastPass or 1Password. And it's only $10/year. RE: Anyone else dealing with forgotten passwords? - Portugals - Jul 20, 2024 Yes, this is very annoying and there is nothing to do :D RE: Anyone else dealing with forgotten passwords? - Jamika - Jul 20, 2024 (Jul 20, 2024 05:42 AM)Burnzy Wrote: It goes something like this Tits itself should be same, if u know what i mean RE: Anyone else dealing with forgotten passwords? - Russian bear - Jul 20, 2024 Oh, i always forget my passwords , not the important ones tho just the regular accounts I often use. RE: Anyone else dealing with forgotten passwords? - Prawnster - Jul 20, 2024 Forgetting passwords is a thing of the past for me, if I can't login to a site, I just give up and forget the site exists because it's easier than going thru the rest process on some of these sites hahaha. I have always been extremely skeptical and I have yet to jump on one 😕 RE: Anyone else dealing with forgotten passwords? - Prawnster - Jul 20, 2024 (Jul 20, 2024 04:18 PM)BlackRock Wrote: I have always been extremely skeptical and I have yet to jump on one 😕 They make life easier tbh, also means u get to use a completely random password per site AND you only have to remember 1 password (the master password) for the manager so yeah why not jump on it :D RE: Anyone else dealing with forgotten passwords? - BlackRock - Jul 20, 2024 (Jul 20, 2024 04:19 PM)Prawnster Wrote: They make life easier tbh, also means u get to use a completely random password per site AND you only have to remember 1 password (the master password) for the manager so yeah why not jump on it :D I probably should! RE: Anyone else dealing with forgotten passwords? - DemonAsylum - Jul 20, 2024 I'm sure most of us have been there at some point in the past, but nah I've been very well on top of all of my accounts/passwords for a long time now. Never something I want to have to sweat or deal with issues for. RE: Anyone else dealing with forgotten passwords? - Deany - Jul 20, 2024 People know their own password by heart? Insanity RE: Anyone else dealing with forgotten passwords? - DemonAsylum - Jul 20, 2024 (Jul 20, 2024 09:44 PM)Deany Wrote: People know their own password by heart? Insanity Some of my random ass character passwords I do actually remember. Not my HF one as I don't ever need to use it. Runescape for instance though I'd have to always enter when I logged in which was of course a lot and so naturally that random password is now engrained in my brain haha. 99% of my passwords though are saved is all. I know none of mine by heart gotta have that beefy security RE: Anyone else dealing with forgotten passwords? - DemonAsylum - Jul 20, 2024 (Jul 20, 2024 10:40 PM)Deany Wrote: I know none of mine by heart gotta have that beefy security Yeah all of my passwords are the kind that the average person would think you're crazy and or weird asf for having lmao. That's called good security though. Granted having a good password is also only part of the battle. Ultimately doesn't mean shit if you allow yourself to be compromised for instance. |
