Introduction

Pure Miner is a Silent Miner tool developed by PureCoder . It allows you to create your own mining payloads, mine cryptocurrencies silently on other devices, and monitor them via a GUI panel. You can adjust your mining settings, including Coin, Wallet Address, Pool, Worker Name, and other configurations, without the need to rebuild the payload.

Pure Miner also supports a variety of coins for mining:

GPU: ETH, ETHW, RVN, Neoxa, Kaspa, Ergo, Nexa, BTC Gold, Flux, Pyrin
CPU: XMR, Zephyr

In this thread, I'll guide you through the setup process for Pure Miner to start silent mining.

Setup

After purchasing a Pure Miner license through Telegram, you'll receive a license key and a MediaFire link to download a ZIP file containing the Pure Miner files. Download the ZIP file to your VPS where the server will be hosted. I would also recommend adding an exclusion for Pure Miner in Windows Defender to avoid any antivirus issues.

Once downloaded, extract the ZIP file and run PureMiner.exe. The first time you open Pure Miner, it will prompt you for the license key. Paste the key into the "Serial Key" text box and click "OK" to activate the software.

I would recommend purchasing the license through a Telegram account that you keep active for the long term. This is important because Pure Miner's HWID approval process relies on your Telegram account to protect your key and keep you updated about any HWID changes.

After logging in, Pure Miner will prompt you to upload plugins. You can either click "Generate Plugins" or manually access the "PureMiner\PureMiner\Data\Plugins" folder. In this folder, you will find Plugin1.dll, Plugin2.dll, and Plugin3.dll. Upload these plugins to a location where you can access them via a direct link, such as GitHub, Dropbox, Mega, or your own server. Once uploaded, obtain a direct link for each plugin and paste these links into the corresponding fields (for example, the direct link for Plugin #1 into the Plugin #1 textbox).

Now you need to check the "Enable" checkbox for each plugin. If everything is set up correctly, you should see a message box saying "Plugin #x is OK!". Sometimes PureCoder may update the plugins. If any plugin gets an update, regenerate it, upload the new version, and update the direct links if the URLs have changed.

I also recommend checking the availability of the plugins once in a while to ensure that the direct links work and haven’t been taken down.

Now your server should be ready to connect new clients! The next step is optional if you want to receive notifications when a new client connects.

First, send the message /start to BotFather on Telegram. Then send /newbot command. Follow the prompts to give your bot a name (it doesn’t matter as long as it’s not already taken). After completing these steps, BotFather will send you a message confirming that your bot has been created, along with the Bot Token.

Now, message MyIdBot on Telegram. Send the message /start, followed by /getid. The bot will respond with your Chat ID.

Next, copy and paste the Bot Token and your Chat ID into the corresponding fields in Pure Miner!

Also, remember to check the "Enable" checkbox to activate the notification feature. You can update the Bot Token and Chat ID after building the payload, so there's no need to worry about that. Be sure to visit "t.me/YourBotName" and type /start to activate the bot and begin receiving notifications. (You can find this link in the message BotFather sent.)

Next, it's time to build the payload. Enter your VPS IP address in the IP/Domain textbox. (I recommend using a domain instead of an IP address in case your VPS IP changes. You can find more details in another thread I posted about mining.)

You can leave Pure Miner's recommended settings as they are. For testing purposes, you can disable all the settings to make it easier to remove from the device. There's no need to adjust the ports either, as Pure Miner will automatically open ports 39001, 39002, and 39003 on your VPS. If you want to track how many clients come from specific sources in multiple spreading projects, you can build multiple payloads with different Group/Tag names. However, this is not necessary.

Next, go to the "Tasks" tab. Select the coin you want to mine, enter your mining wallet address, pool URL, pool port, worker name, and password (you can simply use "x" on password). It's also recommended to enable the "Stop mining if Task Manager is open" setting. This will pause mining if the user opens Task Manager, which helps to prevent the user from noticing unusually high GPU usage.

Results

If you’ve done everything correctly, you should receive a Telegram notification and see your test PC listed under the "Panel" tab in Pure Miner. If your test machine doesn’t appear, focus on the Pure Miner window and press F5 to refresh the panel.

You're right. The txt file that comes with Pure Miner is a bit outdated, so I believe my tutorial is more detailed and could be helpful for new Pure Miner users.

Do you recommend to turn on the features to pause if they are active or if they are gaming/streaming?

This will obviously wary, but for how long do you estimate bots will be mining per day?

How about churn / dropoffs?

I recommend enabling only the option to pause mining when Task manager is opened. Targeting gaming machines and pausing mining when gaming, especially pausing mining when active would just kill all the profits.

Understood - I did some math on the profitability of mining with a mix of the 10 most used gaming GPUs (according to ChatGPT).

With 500 bots, each mining for 3 hours per day it would equate to $209 weekly.

Do you have an idea of the drop off rate? I've seen others on another forum saying their bots dissapear after a weeks time.

Here's my math for anyone interested:

The drop rate is never fully accurate, it depends heavily on the settings you use. For example, you can configure the miner to only run when the PC is idle which makes it more stealthy. This reduces the chances of the user noticing a significant performance drop and recovering their system. However, this approach significantly cuts into profits, as mining would only occur during short idle periods.

In my opinion, the most critical factor is how detectable your miner payload is. If the payload is flagged by antivirus software, it will likely be removed quickly. On the other hand, an undetectable payload is far less likely to be detected and can run for a much longer time.

To sum up, using an undetectable miner with strong persistence on the system should be sufficient. If you want to extend its lifespan by mining only when the PC is idle, that's an option, but I would recommend mining at all times except when Task Manager is open. This is because depending on your spreading method, the user likely already has other malware on their system, which could also lead to system recovery.
