How to decrypt hashes from DB - Macintosh - Aug 18, 2024

Yo. How do you decrypt hashes from extracted DBs? The crackstation/hashkiller site doesn't help. I tried hashcat, downloaded a dictionary on 30GB, and tried 200 hashes, none of them decrypted

I will run hashes from hashes.com by the million with a 90+ GB wordlist and rules. I might crack a dozen or two. Now eight character passwords are still, I think, statistically the most common (though not every website allows passwords with that length). Also, keep in mind that the clock is ticking before the site has users change their passwords.

Bluehash // Bluecode (or that tool something within the name “Blue” in it) might work.

Good luck

I was curious, so I looked up BlueCode. It's nothing but another online rainbow table service. Hashes.com should be better and is free, not counting its bounty feature.

My bad, I said it not correct. New name: BlueCode Hash Finder v9.3

My favorite way is to look at a breach aggregation website and search the hash on there, see if that hash pops up in another breach as being cracked.
