MITM INSTAGRAM - dada5000 - Sep 8, 2024

I am trying to intercept Instagram's network communications to build bots that will farm engagement.

To get started working on the bots I first need to intercept and study the apps networking calls .

I am finding it very hard to intercept the requests because of ssl pinning and root detection.

Does anyone have any experience mitm proxying modern apps such as instagram?

I have rooted device and installed burp CA in system certificates.

Tried prebuilt frida ssl bypass scripts but is still not intercepting.

You shouldn't need root to install a root CA in Settings.

Social media bots, really?

Understanding that this is a hacking forum, if you really see no problem with artificially pumping your engagement with bots, at least realize that it violates the Terms of Use. postplanner.com/blog/instagram-automation#why-you-should-not-automate-instagram-engagement
