Besides, popularity is usually easily given when you +rep someone, he usually +rep back, it's not hard to see people gaining dozens of +rep quickly. You should think about upgrading your account to get the ability to +rep

I got neg repped few times because of stupid things, and to be honest I don't really care, I didn't even neg repped back.

Try to improve your activity here, contribute to the forum, and you'll get +rep easily :)

People will judge me by my attitude, and to be honest nasty people saying rude things won’t negatively impact me, I’m just a bit annoyed about how it might affect me since I’m looking at finding partners on the marketplace.

Another idea, something for the mods, is to create an appeal for wrongfully given popularity points, if they’re biased and something such as hateful (where most people would give negative points to them for hating) or a gang attack (joint attacks on popularity) then you’d be able to appeal them (even for other people if they were wrongfully given positive points).

It’d work like this:

a) Tick all points which were wrongfully given if it’s against the rules.

b) Provide a link to the conversation or message which provoked the popularity.

c) If the person who gave the minus (or positive points) is found guilty, they will be given a warning (-1/3) and if they keep doing it, they’re banned either permanently or temporarily from giving points.

Post here to start off this revolution for a respectable trustworthy point system and hopefully someone will help balance things out 😊
