ADHD and Stimulants - Morphh - Sep 18, 2024 Hello, HF users. This is a kind of random thread, but I'm genuinely curious. I have ADHD, as well as many other diagnoses I don't need to get into, and, well, it affects me like it would affect anyone with ADHD. I've got an appointment with ADHD services (basically mental health services but just for ADHD), and they're going to discuss my medication and which medication I should change to, which will be a stimulant. So, I'm asking anyone on here if they have ever been on stimulants specifically for ADHD, how it made you feel, how it helped or didn't help you, and which one you were or are taking as well as any side-effects. I didn't know where to post this, so I just went with Lounge. RE: ADHD and Stimulants - Eran - Sep 19, 2024 Prescribed stimulants, no. Been using street amphetamine but that just makes me tweaky and talky. What helped was modafinil. After abusing skunk and alcohol and not long kicking my addictions, I will definitely be staying far away from amphetamines. I just looked up modafinil did this help you be more alert/focused? |
