Giving Everything for Love - Yanix - Oct 4, 2024
When it comes to love, many of us find ourselves willing to give everything for the sake of the person we care about.
How about you? How far are you willing to go for the ones you love and what does true sacrifice mean to you?

Love this question. I'm willing to give everything for my family and loved ones even at the expense of my own self. I didn't truly know this about myself until one day my house was on fire when I was younger and I put myself at risk to make sure everyone including my dog was out of the home safely. Luckily everyone was okay and the house ended up being okay as well in the end for the most part.
I can be very selfish at times (especially in the past) but I try and strive to put others and loved ones ahead of me because their happiness makes me happy.

What you did for your love ones are truly amazing and it really shows how much you value each one of them. It’s inspiring how you’ve grown from those experiences and now put others' happiness above your own.

When you truly love, you feel that everything has little value compared to the one you love, even your own life.

It took a very very very long time for my parents to understand why I don’t earn by the hour and that one day we will be financially sound..
But all throughout I have never been forced to contribute to bills, and they let me get on with what I need to do.
So yeah, I live under their roof working 20 hours a day on the dream. I get dissed for not contributing to bills but the sad reality is, time is scarce and my projects are full time based.
I always think about freeing them, hope I can make that happen soon lol

It sounds like you're incredibly dedicated to your dreams and it's great that your parents have given you the space to pursue them.
Building something worthwhile takes time and it's not always easy for others to understand the process.
Keep yourself on focused and hopefully, you'll be able to repay their support in a meaningful way soon.

Love definitely makes us go above and beyond for the people we care about. For me, true sacrifice is when you’re willing to put someone else’s needs and happiness before your own, without expecting anything in return. It’s about being there through the ups and downs, and doing whatever it takes to support them. At the same time, I think balance is key. You shouldn’t lose yourself entirely in the process, but find ways to grow together.

For the ones I love, I'd move heaven and earth.
I make time for them, I provide for them and I am there whenever they need.
Just takes a lot to become someone that I love truly.
