Tool to hack IoT devices - Dub34 - Oct 4, 2024

Is there any way I can hack a IoT device with some tools or programs on kali?

Tools like Nmap, Wireshark, and Aircrack-ng can help you learn about network vulnerabilities
But your going to need some tools if you want to do some hardware hacking mainly dumping the firmware and gaining access

Try hack-iot-now. Just point it at an IoT IP address and fire it off.

I'm kidding obviously. There is no tool. You just have to identify your targets and do work to gain access. Modern IoT devices are a lot more secure than early generations, too. Security researchers are busy people.

Some IoT can be hacked because some of them come with less security features that are good to keep the device safe

I'm not saying that IoT devices can't be hacked. Far from it. I'm just trying to point out that if you expect to go the script kiddie route and use a "Kali IoT hacking tool," you will be disappointed.

If in network start with netdiscover...
Then nmap --help can give you exactly what you need.... If not then a search engine will.
