Convo improvement suggestion thread | Share your ideas here & Make Convo Great Again! - Cooligan - Oct 6, 2024

Just as the title states, this thread can act as a suggestion box for new HF Convo features, bug fixes, overall improvements, and more.

Most recent Convo improvements:

,,1'' Omniscient creating the "new thread notification"

,,2'' Omniscient making the new gradient usernames work in Convo

,,3'' source creating his Convo AI bot that now produces both text replies & image generation
ㅤㅤㅤ╰─▸ type "/commands" to list all available AI commands

,,4'' Omniscient fixed member tagging in Convo. We can now tag users with punctuation touching the mention @@'s.
ㅤㅤㅤ╰─▸ Omniscient has also fixed tagging N 's username! HF's one and only single character username

Let's keep growing this list and make HF Convo the best it can be!

FYI This only works when im online and in the convo room.

Available Commands:
/ai [prompt] - Ask the AI for any information or assistance
/yt [search term] - Search YouTube for videos (15 seconds cooldown)
/sports [nfl/nba/mlb/nhl] - Get recent sports data
/commands - List all available commands

The YT one is great, we tested out /image earlier and that proved to be fun as well. Although the image api is not free, the rest is running on google gemini free api and youtube v3 data api free

That's good to see so many improvments on HF, I can't wait to test the source AI, can I ask you what it relies on, ChaptGPT ? Is it censored as well ?

One suggestion I have for Convo's is the mobile responsiveness.

It can be a struggle to use as it doesn't auto-scroll the chat when a new message comes in and sometimes you can't scroll down without refreshing.

I would like mentions to work like they do on the main forum. Right now, if anything is touching the mention, it doesn't work.

Example: @taggeduser@ would work but not @taggeduser@. or sdfsdf@taggeduser@

It would be cool if there was a responsive option for tagging ie; you start typing @Tru and the usernames start showing below

Wait, don't they still not work if characters are touching the @@'s on the forum?

Actually it should work with the period on the end. I fixed that a while ago.

EDIT: yeah worked, I don't see why sdfsdf@trust@ should be a valid tag.

Oh, I don't believe at the time I applied my fix to Convo. These run on different system. I didn't do @n@ either in Convo, also doesn't work.
