What is your work schedule? - jcole - Oct 8, 2024

What is your work schedule like? Do you work in the mornings or in the evening? I usually work about twelve hours a day from the morning to night. I tend to clock in at 6AM and then clock out and go home around 6PM with no lunch. For the past few months I was doing 15 hour days and that was hard on my body. I work M-F, and occasionally the weekend. I don't like working the weekend, but will if I need to get the extra hours in. What's your work schedule like?

The good ole 9-5 for me my dude

RE: What is your work schedule? - Mxstermind - Oct 8, 2024

As soon as I wake up, go outside, grab a coffee and start with phone then 2 hours switch to my laptop for another 2 hours. Chill for 2 hours then work for another 2 hours.

I hate to admit it but its the standard 9-5 and is this getting tiresome doing it day in and day out. I am trying to switch it up but seems to be impossible at current time.

You're not wrong that Is a fact. It's just that people when I was younger they painted this completely different now, you live to work and not the opposite work to live which should be the standard. I just wish there was more things rather than being treated as just a number in a company.

Either 7-3 or 1-9. Sucks :(

RE: What is your work schedule? - The Pact - Oct 8, 2024

I only "work" 7 hours a week in the afternoons and evenings only except on Sunday when I have to start work at 11am which I don't like. Mostly I don't have to work more than that. I have passive income from older stuff that is still selling online and my house is more than 90% paid off so I don't have to pay much on it per week and I am on track to have paid off my house in four years.

At the moment I am unemployed. When I start my new job in a couple weeks I will be 9-5 5 days a week. Sunday-Thursday.

RE: What is your work schedule? - Epic - Oct 8, 2024

I'm pretty much the standard weekdays with a 9-5. Pretty consistent schedule, doesn't change very much. Sometimes I can work weekends for a little extra.

Right now it’s nothing as I have a nasty cold. Sleeping my day away… I think my grind for the octoberfest award got me sick

I'm usually M-F, 7:30 to 4 but usually go beyond that. Then I'm also on call one night per week and one weekend per month.

Nothing beats that schedule! Home at night with the family.

Seems like a really easy schedule. What do you do for work?

Signed off early today since I took a short lunch.
The dream job 40 hour work week.

I work upwards of 70 hours some weeks.. Most of the time I'll do just a 60 hour work week, but when I travel it is 70.

Do you work for yourself?

A lot of people have a nice 8 hour work day and 40 hour work week around here!

Working for yourself is tough. Sometimes it is easier to just work for a company and let them make the difficult decisions.

I would still be doing no lunch, but the company I work for is making them mandatory. I have to clock out unpaid for at least 30 minutes and I'll get bitched at.

Lunch is always mandatory here. If you work 8 hours, you get a 30 minute unpaid break and two 15 minute breaks (paid).
