Question:
If Omni sent you a private message, and said that he was going to be adding some new features to HF, and that he was allowing you to choose one feature. no matter what it is, and that he would add it.. what would that feature be?
If I had the decision to make, I would probably come up with some more Award Goals. Every one likes Awards, you see how many people popped out for OctoberFest, which essentially people do to get the Award. So I think adding more Award Goals would not only give users more things to do on the site, but should also increase the amount of engagement on the site daily.

That’s a great suggestion! Adding more award goals would definitely boost engagement and motivate users to participate more actively. Awards bring out a sense of accomplishment and fun competition, and if there were a variety of unique ones, it could encourage different types of contributions to the forum. Plus, it keeps things fresh and gives members something to strive for over time. Do you have any specific award ideas in mind?

I would contribute greatly to the site by displaying a banner telling people to donate to my crypto wallets for absolutely nothing in return 🤣

Yah, I think Awards are the trick to building back up the engagement on the site. It's just a matter of coming up with ideas for how to earn those new awards.

Maybe some new styling/theming, especially for code blocks and such. I like the retro-esque feel of HF, but I also like modern UIs like JetBrains' new UI.

An official voting system would be pretty sweet. That's not a bad suggestion, maybe that's something Omni might consider.

Agreed, I felt like when I lurked HF the awards/groups were what made me register and stay here instead of other sites.
