Favorite Altcoins - Aeowulf - Oct 11, 2024

Does anyone have favorite Altcoins? Obviously not BTC, but I'm also talking separate from the other mainstream stuff like ETH and LTC.

I'm just looking for other coins to get into. Legitimate, but under the radar altcoins that are great for transactions.

Not really under the radar, but Floki. I mentioned it on another thread here yesterday.

The strongest positioned meme coin with by far the most utility. Look into what they've actually built since the 2022 bear market and you will be impressed.

I predict the upcoming catalysts will be their flagship Valhalla game launch in November + marketing initiatives around it, which will cause a temporary rally back to ATH prices (2.5x from here).

Then most likely a bleed off capitulation period until the market itself turns to new highs, at which point I think Floki will set record highs matching previous market caps of coins like Shib and Doge from the last cycle.

I used to hold a bunch of Floki but I swapped it all. Never had anyone wanting to transact with it. 😕 I'm pretty sure I swapped when it was near a low too.

Toncoin. It's relatively new and picking up price steadily because of the meme token boom going on with Telegram groups.

BGB is another one. It's a CEX token of BitGet. Naturally if Bitget exchange continue to get volume and more users. BGB token will rise like Binance's BNB has.

Oh, haven't you heard? I'm a (not really) TON millionaire: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=6278296
That was legitimately the first I had heard of TON. 🤣
Haven't heard of those others. Thanks.

Congratulations! Best wishes. Or rather. My condolences

Yeah... 🤣 It's killing me. Just let me use it or make it go away.

I would choose my personal favorite - Monero. Monero remains strong even after a lot of exchanges delisted. It has a very strong privacy foundation.

I'm holding a whopping $17 of it. 🤣

RE: Favorite Altcoins - F4tDoinkz - Oct 12, 2024

Not really too much of a fan of alt coins these days. But when doge went up for a bit I bought in and dumped just in time and I made a bunch off it.

Shortly after a ton of shit pump and dump coins started and I managed to make a bunch off them before they offloaded and took basically everyone’s money. Had some fun with the market for a bit.

Since you already stated LTC. I'll have to go on a limb and point out Tron. I really consider my own personal business experience with crypto as a deciding factor on what's currently being used in the Marketplace. Of course I get the BTC and LTC the most. And XMR represents a portion. But I often get direct contacts from new members wishing to pay with USDT and guess what network they use? TRON! Almost every time. I'd say 90% of the time when I don't have a listed crypto (BTC/LTC/DOGE/XMR) someone wants to pay, they go USDT (TRC-20) tokens.

That tells me something. There is a market utility and adoption for Tron.

I could probably deep-dive for a couple hours to prove my experience as fact but let's just start with this as my viewpoint.

I will go out on a limb to say that the only reason people use Tron for payments is because it's 10x cheaper to withdraw/send from CEX.

There is literally nothing else remarkable or unique about the Tron ecosystem other than using it to transact is cheap.

Source: I use it when it's an option because it's cheap.

Justin Sun is also a genius. I always see tweets about him doing other side projects/quests- and hasn’t even spent time in a cell, which suggests he's navigating the industry cleanly

I've noticed the same thing recently. had quite a few people paying for things with TRON. Probably on to something.
