Have you ever been betrayed by a friend or an associate? - Moooookie - Oct 11, 2024

Question:

Have you ever been betrayed by one of your friends, or close associates? I have. When I was like 19, I got super drunk at house party and ended up passing out in a chair, and one of my "friends" dipped in my pocket and stole my money. I didn't end up finding out until the next day, when someone else that was at the party told me about it. Needless to say we had to square up after that, and that pretty much was the end of that friendship. Be careful who you trust!

Never honestly or none I can remember. I think these partnerships I see online never end well anyways.
I conduct most of my operations alone.

If its a real life company sure I need a team but I never trust anyone as a boss. I manage them all I boot them all at my will. They are just
colleague and workers , they are never your friends.

Back when I was in high school, my girlfriend cheated on me with one of my buddies at the time. I'm not sure who I was more mad at, my girlfriend or my friend.

You're right about online partnerships normally not ending well, normally because one person isn't as serious about everything as the other person. I've done my fair share of joint ventures, but typically only with people that I have already known for some years, as I know what they're about, and have a level of trust for them. When you do a joint venture with someone you don't really know, you're taking a hell of a gamble.

Yes, a former friend revealed private details about my life to others, which led to the end of our friendship.

Not that I am aware of, I have had some falling out with friends in the past.

I had a close friend take money from my wallet while I slept, and denied it to my face despite him being the only one there. Ended a 12 year friendship in one moment, because he knew if he needed it I would have given it, but lies I will not tolerate.

I've had that happen with my two best friends. I didn't end the friendship over it. But one of them has drifted away now anyway after thirty some years of close friendship she just never contacts me any more but she hasn't really betrayed me.

My only sibling, my sister is doing the trendy "no contact" thing literally for no reason other than that it's trendy because we didn't have a fight or anything. I'd sent her 7 emails in which I asked her about her breast reduction operation, but she suddenly told me I'd never asked or cared about her operation when she'd cared about my operation that was to prevent cancer not plastic surgery like hers, and she was going no contact over it. [Mine wasn't breasts lol]

I went back and found seven emails where I'd mentioned it and she hadn't said anything about it in her reply emails? I'd always asked about it at the end of the emails thinking I was ending the email on a loving note, but I guess she flew into a rage when the emails began with talk about my kids, and not her operation and didn't read the rest? Anyway she's been doing it since 2021 now.

Who haven't? Especially by associate, I can recall 2 cases. Friends maybe one, but still with not such large impact of betrayal per say

I know you said it led to the end of your friendship, but do you still have to see this person when you go out?

No, thankfully we do not run into each other anymore. I prefer it that way.

I won't say betrayed but we had a disagreement, and just went our separate ways.

Do you still see this individual when you're out and about? Or do you no longer run into them? I can imagine that would be awkward.
