What is the easiest way to calculate total threads created for October? - Moooookie - Oct 12, 2024 As the title asks, what is the easiest way to figure out how many threads we've created this month? I always under the impression that I could just click on Threads on my profile, and count all the ones that said October.. but it doesn't work like that. The dates being shown under threads, are the dates of last reply. So how can we find out the total number of threads we created this month? RE: What is the easiest way to calculate total threads created for October? - Deany - Oct 12, 2024 Not sure, I just counted mine manually on the date it started RE: What is the easiest way to calculate total threads created for October? - Moooookie - Oct 12, 2024 (Oct 12, 2024 02:03 PM)Deany Wrote: Not sure, I just counted mine manually on the date it started That's probably what I should have done, but was under the assumption that I would be able to just look on threads and count them. RE: What is the easiest way to calculate total threads created for October? - DemonAsylum - Oct 12, 2024 Just go to the page that shows your created threads and then work your way down going to each of them and checking the date it was created. If into October than it of course will count towards your progress. RE: What is the easiest way to calculate total threads created for October? - Vipеr - Oct 12, 2024 Keep posting threads until the progress stops on the award page. RE: What is the easiest way to calculate total threads created for October? - Eran - Oct 12, 2024 I just count mine tbh, it can't be that hard lol. When I look under threads, I see a mixture of old and new threads that I created listed under October. It doesn't just show the ones created in October.. and considering were already at the 12th of the month, and I haven't been counting them... there is no real way to just count them. Like I mentioned in my previous reply you'll have to actually go TO the threads. As in click on them. Your initial post of the thread will show when you created it. If it shows as being created in October than you know it's counting towards your progress for the award. Yeah, but I'm not going thru all of them one by one like that, since there are old threads mixed in there. I was looking for an easy way to be able to figure it out, without doing a bunch of manual work. Meaning any threads prior to that obviously aren't going to count towards your progress as they weren't made in October. The threads remaining for a page and like a third of another, just go through them manually. It will genuinely only take a couple of minutes tops haha. It's not going to get any easier than that either. Edit Just did what I explained above and it took me not even 2 minutes. You've created 30 threads exactly this month. Congrats on having that portion of the award goal done! RE: What is the easiest way to calculate total threads created for October? - Yin Yang - Oct 12, 2024 Not sure other than manually counting it RE: What is the easiest way to calculate total threads created for October? - Moooookie - Oct 12, 2024 (Oct 12, 2024 03:11 PM)DemonAsylum Wrote: You have not even a page and a half of threads where the last reply was after October started. I think I was a bit confused on what you were saying, and was thinking that I would have to go thru page after page of threads checking... but you're right, the ones on the other pages wouldn't count obviously, because they weren't from this month. Well, that's awesome news to know that I have the 30 threads completed. That's a real relief. No problem at all and ahh, I see where your confusion may have came from then. All good of course. This question is something multiple people have asked both to myself and just in general so you're hardly alone in wondering about it haha. Happy to help, congrats again on the 30 threads, and best of luck with the rest of your posts! I took screenshot before the contest, remeber i was on 151 thread, and 5151 posts, sorry but i think u have to count them one by one Edit : good that demon helped, how many posts still u have? RE: What is the easiest way to calculate total threads created for October? - Cap - Oct 12, 2024 I'd say just to write down whenever you create a new thread and keep a tally on how many you have going. Probably the simplest way. |
