As OP states, I don't know if it is the nicest but I really appreciate when people tell me IRL they like my vibe/I am chill it helps me relax and send my anxiety down so I don't think I am acting weird af.

Someone made me guess every reason he could possibly like me and find me attractive and then said all of them were true. And also made me guess all the reasons he might not find me attractive and say he liked all those things as well.

It is pain. We were never actually together as I was too humble to get that he was in love with me because he was too high status above me and was my boss.

😠I am so sorry, is there still a chance now or he has a family etc? That is the worst spot to be in as well, I had something somewhat similar as I was with a girl who was telling me everything I wanted to hear but maliciously and it wasted years of my life I still dread it today thinking what I could have done. It is interesting to me how sometimes people with pain seem to find each other, maybe it's always coincidence sure but it sure seems to happen to me IRL a lot too like I can sense/feel it idk haha.

I recently got in contact with him, but he's stopped replying now and I think he is still married to someone else while I am a widow although he didn't really mention his wife in messages to me. Ironically he is way older than my husband was. That was the other thing my boss and I were both married and he was doing everything to show he loved me, but I just was too humble and thought it was impossible.
