Walk into a room with everyone you've ever met who are you finding first? - Boil - Oct 16, 2024
This is my favorite question to get to know people so I had to ask it here.
Myself, I would have to answer with one of my great grandpas. I've been told all my life I was just like them and have the same thinking. Last memory of either of them is when I was about 4 years old. It's been awhile but I want to see who I resemble in my family.

That's a meaningful question! It’s amazing how family connections can shape who we are. I’d love to meet my great grandmother; I’ve heard so many stories about her strength and resilience. This is a very emotional question for me. Without hesitation or doubt, I would say my mother and father. If I had to choose someone first, it would be my father because I miss him so much since his passing.

I feel bad. There are things I could miss, but it's been so long and I don't miss the abuse. And I feel bad that I feel so much worse over my late husband than my mother because of the abuse.

Everyone... my kids and wife first. Then I'm finding my grandparents that have passed away before my kids were born.

I would say my grandparents because I miss them a lot! Wish they could see how far I have gotten in life as I know they would be so happy to hear what I have been up to.

You should never miss the abuse and it's completely understandable. I, thankfully had an amazing relationship with my mom and I cherished every moment of it
