Whats the longest period of time you have gone without sleep? - Game - Oct 22, 2024
How long have you gone without sleep with no naps or assistance from drugs/medicine.
I’ll allow caffeine as we all indulge in tea/coffee to keep us going.
Me personally, I’ve probably stayed awake for about 2-3 days straight without sleep. I tend to have a lot of late nights, especially now that I am unemployed.

I think I made it 24 hours once, but I could hardly stand up at that point. I was camping with some friends and we thought it would be fun to try and stay up all night, ended up being not that fun, lol.
I definitely need my sleep to function my best, but I admire people who are able to function well on little sleep.

I think probably 1 day max. 2-3 days you are crazy I thought a person would die of heart attack if it goes over 2-3 days damn man.

Yeah I can function quite well without sleep if I have something to do that I enjoy doing. As soon as I’m presented with something boring that I don’t enjoy, I become a zombie.
Every few days I’ll do a little 24-48 hours awake. I try to catch up when I can though.

I think I’ll need to look into this as I do it regularly. I’m not working so my sleep pattern is crazy and I feel like sleep is a waste of my time as I’m doing everything I can to make money while unemployed.
I will definitely try to find some more balance though as I have been getting what feels like palpitations… eek…

Honestly, that’s insane. Once I reach 48 hours I become a narcoleptic zombie. If I get bored or sit still for too long without a stimulant, I’m snoring.
I play a lot of video games to stay stimulated, and get adrenaline.

Yeah I recall having some weird shit happen to my body, just odd aches and stuff.

40ish hours; did a full shift at work before driving 7hrs at night to a beach. Once that sun came back up it kinda kept me awake for the rest of the day. Also hard to sleep on mushrooms and having beers with friends. Only slept 7 or so hours after and went right back to it next day haha.

I'd say about 60 hours. Needless to say stimulants were involved. Glad I'm not in that period anymore.

When I was younger, it would be a whole night and the next day until night, that's the longest I've ever been awake

Around 33 hours as I worked a 26 hour shift and was up prior to that, got to the point where I was almost too tired to sleep had to smoke a ton and KO.

The longest I have gone without sleep was around 40 hours during a stressful work deadline.
I have no intention of doing it again.
