As a kid I was always fascinated by cheating in games not sure why, and this is what got me into hacking and malware development.
What about you guys? What are your experiences with game cheating, exploiting etc.

I grew up around a game called "black hawk down" and I thought it was fascinating cheating, I then learned about cheating, created my own cheats for that game, but the thing that got me into "PC hacking" was getting hacked when I was a kid, I was so blown away with the whole concept and wanted to learn myself and here I am 10 years later lol.
But, yea, I remember making game cheats for Black hawk down and it was honestly the most fun I have ever had, I never EVER knew how to make an ingame menu, was always "trainers" where you would have to tab out of the game and click the cheat you wanted, was fun times.

CS: Source back in 1.4 had a lot of cheats. I liked using the aim bot on lan games at school.

I had this app called cheat book, it was full of cheats and walkthroughs of games, used it alot

Used cheats for a few times in CS 1.6 / GTA SA when I was 13-15 because it was interesting what is it.
As for me better is without cheats playing

I started with game save modding using Modio when I was 12. I ended up being infected with a RAT after a while and that put me on the path of learning to hack.
I also developed cheats for GTA IV on Xbox 360 & PC and some for GTA V in the early stages.
I ended up growing into the 2010-2014 āTwitter sceneā of āhacktivismā, eventually leaving that behind when I got engaged so as to avoid leaving my lady behind if I ended up in jail for dumb shit.
