Few days ago, I saw a post on Reddit that saiys that Monero wasnt that anonymous, any one knows what Im talking about?

As of right now xmr is anonymous but doesn't necessarily mean it will be forever. Tor markets also used to use btc because it was 'untraceable', then look what happened to DPR. You should have extra security measures in place besides just relying on the anonymity of xmr.

XMR payments aren't anonymous when you tell me who you are and I tell you who I am. Then one of us tells someone else.
Otherwise XMR payments are private as can be.

Couple of different ways that entities have tried to attack it/people having bad opsec.
1. Run a node for people to submit transactions to and log the transactions (this is a blockchain problem, not a XMR problem)
2. Doing transactions from the same wallet (i.e. deposit to 1 address from KuCoin then withdraw from the same address on SimpleSwap or whatever)
3. Posting your XMR node address on your website whilst running a darknet marketplace that just exit scammed iykyk
