Does anyone here have a phobia? - Game - Oct 27, 2024
I don’t know that I have any phobias for certain, but I feel like claustrophobia and Thalassophobia (deep or large bodies of water) are high possibilities for me.
I get hot and flustered fast in tight spaces and have to rush out to cool down and breathe properly again.
When it comes to the water, I can swim in the sea etc but as the same time, it scares me and I hate getting wet.

This is going to sound absurd but I have a serious issue with styrofoam. I cannot touch it. Something about the way it feels and the squeaky noise it makes just gets under my skin.

Nah this makes perfect sense there are a lot of people with textures that drive them nuts.

I can’t stand snakes. Had a phobia since the first one I saw as a kid. Just can’t do it with them. I’ve tried to get past the phobia but can’t do it.

You are not alone, snakes make a lot of people feel uncomfortable.
Do you find that both small and big snakes bother you equally or is it worse with the larger ones?

Those are definitely common phobias, and it makes sense to feel uneasy in those situations. Claustrophobia can be really tough to manage, especially when you’re in tight spaces. As for thalassophobia, it’s interesting how many people love the ocean but still have that underlying fear of the unknown. Do you have any strategies for coping with those feelings when they arise?

Use to be heights when I was very young but overcame it by climbing up a real high tree and then falling the fuck outta that tree and not dying so I was like ehh heights aint that bad then huh.
