If you could commit any crime and get away with it, what would it be and why?
I would do some kind of fraudulent money making scheme and get rich quick. Self explanatory I think.

The child part I'll withdraw. But can't you handle a question? The consequences if caught kidnapping people is the thing keeping you from doing it and choosing it specifically it sounds to me you kind of want to kidnap people, no? You can choose plenty of crimes without violent crimes or avoiding loved ones being scared for their family member.
If it is only about the money then you could come up with something besides kidnapping or another crime that will make someone (in this case some president) worried sick for his child. The person being kidnapped probably won't like the experience either.
