Hell yeah
there is no better feeling than reading the weather from directly from a satellite
or locating and listening into ISS or watching plays fly around

Which SDR do you have? Just the ordinary RTL-SDR?

One day I'll get into it.

I've always been curious about this field, but don't have enough time right now, there are already too many interesting fields related to IT and hacking

I have 2 now, 1 running ADSB for 360Radar, and another I use just for general scanning running DSD+ Fastlane.
Great fun, I highly recommend getting into it.

You can't go wrong with either of these dongles.

It looks super interesting but without a specific reason to buy the hardware and set something up I've just never made the jump to get into it.

I use the nooelec, with OP25 for decoding trunking on my raspberry pi, can DSD+ Fastlane decode P25 Phase 2? I'm curious.

I believe it does, but nothing something I have tested.
