Honeygain is a safe (feel free to Google) it organisation that pays you to share your internet bandwidth. I've been using them for over a year and have accumulated - to date - about $70 USD in earnings from a single device left on for I'd say about 80% of the time.
They pay to PayPal or in JMPT tokens (+10% bonus), a BNB chain token that can be swapped at most major crypto swap sites. I use https://ff.io (FixedFloat).
The screenshots above are of my PayPal withdrawals and my JMPT profit. 1000 points = $1, so roughly $65 withdrawn to date and my balance in Honeygain right now is close to 10K points so another $10 waiting.
Clients are available for Windows, Mac, Linux distributions, and iOS (foreground only).

There had been a case where people rented out their traffic at home and got their home's raided by the feds. Watch out and make sure that site is trustable.

Yes. Per year. It's not a lot - less than a dollar a day - but it's completely passive, doesn't suck energy (one could literally run the Docker container on an rpi), and can be set up reliably in literally less than 5 minutes.

For PayPal, $20 minimum.
For $JMPT tokens (which you can later swap for other crypto), no minimum - it's paid to your JMPT wallet.
