Last post on this platform. Dont ask me for external contact information I wont give you it. I MIGHT very very big MIGHT post further opsec/tool posts like I have in the past but I will not bother to make any kind of connections. Thanks.

You will need to edit proxychains config if you want to route through other ports/ips which you can do by doing this:

sudo nano /etc/proxychains.conf

Scroll to the very bottom and add ips and their respective port like this:

ip:port user pass

Installing needed programs/tools:

\-> Installing proxychains:

sudo apt install proxychains

\-> Installing tornet:

pip install tornet # it is a python package however you can add it to

\-> Making tornet a bash command and verifying it is 'installed':

# verify tornet is working correctly

tornet # should just output to console

\-> Editing /etc/profile:

sudo nano /etc/profile # so we can edit it

Once you have nano-ed the profile file go all the way to the bottom of the file (VERY BOTTOM) and add the following two lines:

export LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libproxychains.so.4

export PROXYCHAINS_CONF_FILE=/etc/proxychains.conf

\-> Finalize:
Once you have saved the changes to the profile file and have everything setup correctly then you will need to log out and log back in.
When you have relogged your first open terminal should have the following output on start:

[proxychains] DLL init: proxychains-ng 4.17

[proxychains] DLL init: proxychains-ng 4.17

[proxychains] DLL init: proxychains-ng 4.17

[proxychains] DLL init: proxychains-ng 4.17

[proxychains] DLL init: proxychains-ng 4.17

[proxychains] DLL init: proxychains-ng 4.17

If it does (I dont think it matters but either way) run the following command and compare your ip from the ip output:

curl -X GET https://api.ipify.org

Example output:

[proxychains] DLL init: proxychains-ng 4.17

[proxychains] Strict chain  ...  127.0.0.1:9050  ...  api.ipify.org:443  ...  OK

192.42.116.209%
