What is the minimum amount of Money you need to live the rest of your life? - RangoWorld - Nov 13, 2024 Based on your current age, location and lifestyle. What is the minimum amount of money you will need to live the remainder of your life without ever working? Also let me know if and where you will be investing this amount of money. It only includes you. Not your family. For me it has to be $300K. I believe I can make do with it. That's the absolute bare minimum amount of money I will need to live my life. I would be investing that money into an index or a savings account. RE: What is the minimum amount of Money you need to live the rest of your life? - Bastille - Nov 13, 2024 I would say at least 2000€/month, so 24.000 per year, and for the next 50 years (if I live around 80 years), it would be 1.2 millions. With this I could go on vacations 1 or 2 times per year, it's not a huge salary, it's average in Fance. Interesting. I didn't counted in vacations. But I think I would be able to go out and buy some stuff here and there after saving some of the left over money. Also must live with cheap rents like $600-$1k a month at most, cheap $30 internet and $30 mobile data. cheap foods. RE: What is the minimum amount of Money you need to live the rest of your life? - Pimping - Nov 13, 2024 I think i could live on $1m-$1.5m might have to live a bit frugal RE: What is the minimum amount of Money you need to live the rest of your life? - SIM-4716193 - Nov 13, 2024 I have made this calculation last year while doing my taxes. I used the time value of money formula along with calculating real rate of return (inflation adjusted). Figure came out to be about $1.3M considering that I will live till 85 & will not be saving any money for legacy & estate transfer. If I want to save some money for estate transfer, then I would need $1.7M RE: What is the minimum amount of Money you need to live the rest of your life? - Jamika - Nov 14, 2024 (Nov 13, 2024 11:11 PM)BoxDirty Wrote: 3-4M but this is mostly considering I have 2 kids coming and we would like 2 more so 4 in total. 3-5 millions ?
