RE: Any working VPN's on tor browser? - Syndicate - Dec 1, 2024 I typically use UrbanVPN browser extension and it works fine for me RE: Any working VPN's on tor browser? - DramaKing - Dec 1, 2024 (Dec 1, 2024 01:35 PM)btcluva Wrote: Running tor on kali linux and its not connecting due to my vpn i think. Is there any way to bypass this? It's possible to do this but pretty dumb. The VPN is blocking the proxy connection. You can sometimes connect to a VPN over a proxy but just don't. RE: Any working VPN's on tor browser? - Klonopin - Dec 2, 2024 Its recommended not to use a VPN for tor anyways. RE: Any working VPN's on tor browser? - sexyspinx - Dec 3, 2024 if your on linux and using socks proxys you can use proxychains / proxychains-ng; if not you can add tor through a socks proxy variable in the ovpn / wireguard config and it should connect over to if it using tcp. it not the most recommended tho if your going for anonymity and if your just wanting to get past a few site block. there is plenty of archive / snapshot services for web sites and port info. you should not use a vpn before tor!!! if your normal internet is tor blocking try getting some bridges (even tho they have had more vulns and are susceptible to correlation attacks ) it's probably better than a vpn linked to a single identity. also if your vpn already is using tor the tbb will stop if form connecting most of the time; same would happen if you tor proxy your whole system / vm and try to connect RE: Any working VPN's on tor browser? - Bastille - Dec 4, 2024 sexyspinx Klonopin DramaKing Syndicate btcluva I was working on a thread about this topic, diving into each scenarios while using Tor :
I'm tagging you guys (as you replied to this thread) to let you know it's coming in case you're interested to take a look at a deep analysis of this topic, I'll probably publish the thread into the blackhat training section Here is a preview of the diagrams I'm working on
