What's your work schedule look like? - jcole - Dec 17, 2024

Recently the company I work for has been cutting our hours because they don't want us working in the dark. Since the time change I work less during the days, and get to sleep more throughout the week. My schedule as of now is:
I religiously go to bed at 10PM.
I religiously wake up at 6:30AM.
I'm at work clocked in by 7:30AM.
I work all day with no lunch, and clock out at 5:30PM.
(I take my "mandatory" lunch at the end of the day.)

I work 60 hours a week, and recently have to come in on Saturdays to get my desired hours in.
What's your schedule look like?

I know that's a lie.

I just started work; three 12 hour shifts but trying to fit college in. I can do a certification course instead to save time. How old are you? 60 hours seems alot, I'd like to try though assuming the consistency rolls throughout work.

What's your schedule look like?

Wake up: 9am - 10am
Do work 10 - 5 or 6
Sleep ideally before midnight, lately it’s been 1 or 2 am though

I'm 27, and would like to not have to work so much. The overtime pay is the only thing that keeps me doing it.

Solid schedule. I want a job like it, as long as the pay is good.

I try to work overtime. Right now I just quit studying to get a hang of work life.

I don't do any schooling right now. If I did.. I wouldn't be working sixty hours a week. The schedule would be insane.

I actually have the luxury of waking up whenever I want and work whenever I want. :D

Have you thought about it? Like for work I plan on staying 35+ years. Fast food cashier stuff is fine for moving up a tier though like experience and stuff not just punching the clock. I guess what I'm trying to say is staying somewhere for work and being unhappy about it would be detrimental but isn't the worst thing in the world.

Facts. Once you have a job everything gets easier, hopefully

Insane lately. I got thrown into the fire taking over some projects that started 2 months ago and now the deadlines are coming and the guy who was overseeing them was terminated since he wasn't getting anything done.

Mine’s the 9-5, nothing crazy

I go to work in the morning, then I come back and have lunch. I spend some time with my family before heading out for the evening shift. Later at night, I return, and we sit together for a while before going to bed. This is what usually happens.

my schedule’s pretty simple, nothing crazy like 60 hrs. wake up around 8, start work at 9, done by 5 most days. try to hit the gym after work but honestly i’ve been slackin lol.

props to you for grindin that hard tho, idk if i could handle 60 hrs a week—do you still get time to just chill?
