What’s your take on secret Santa/white elephant?
My office plays it every year. My opinion: waste of time and money. I get a stupid $20 gift that’ll end up in the trash…

For work events, or people you don't know personally, yes. I'm doing it with my family this year at a higher price point and I'm enjoying it.

What higher price point would you say it’s good to do it at?
I agree with you, when I have done it in the past, it was always $20… so pretty much junk.

$50 seems perfect. We are using https://www.drawnames.com which gives Amazon suggestions based on M/F and age. So far the suggestions for my wishlist were spot on. A lot of decent recommendations on there for $50.

That’s a really cool website! Makes it so much easier to organize. That website must make a killing based on affiliate links lol

Exactly what I was thinking. It's an awesome idea, but they're only making money around the holidays.
