Ever took a leap of faith when it's most scary... - Eran - Dec 23, 2024 And in this example quit your job...? It's on my mind 24/7 I have a few opportunities to make an income online (not an actual job, lets call it freelancing) but I am scared to do it. I've been struggling with this a lot. Did you do it? How did it turn out? RE: Ever took a leap of faith when it's most scary... - RangoWorld - Dec 23, 2024 Yes. Multiple times in my life I have done that. Couple times it went well. Last time I did it hasn't worked out yet. But it was not my decision that was wrong - because I don't regret it. But rather because of my own complacency. I plan to make it work next year. Life is short, you gotta do what you want to do. Just one advice. If this online side hustle thing hasn't shown you significant positive tangible results then don't quit your job yet. Once it is giving you tangible result and a clear direction that if you go fully in then it will become bigger only then consider. Do you live with your parents? The reason I ask is that if you live with your parents and the job is a crappy job like a labor job. Then quit it and do full time free lance. If the job is like a professional job that pays well and you live on your own. I would suggest you to ease into free lance. Take one project at the time on the side and see how you can replace the income you make. Once you can make the same or more than what you made at your current job. Then that's the time to quit. Normally, I wouldn't quit but I would slowly hire someone and start a company. Have them replace you and you just jump in to help when you can. Then you keep hiring people for your company and have them work other projects. |
