Rocket League - Phantom_NiNja - Dec 30, 2024

Has anyone played Rocket League?

I just started playing on the xbox s one.

Anyone got any tips on playing? I play 3v3 but trying to learn how to play it.

I am able to make goals but only simple ones. I don't know how to get turbo
and balance on how to use it to fly and get the ball in the air.

I played with pro players and it seems they have infinite turbo. I seen one guy go rom their goal with the ball
and just fly across the field right into our net.

I wouldn't do anything. I had turbo but don't think I can go up in the air and catch up with the person without running out of turbo.

got any tips on how to learn the mechanics of the game?

You should tap the boost (feather) to make it last longer.

You should get in the habit of passively collecting boost on the ground too, over time you'll get timing down for collecting the big boosts too. Also it's worth stealing a big boost even if you don't need it just to make it harder for your opponents to get more boost.

The training mode is also REALLY good to get started with aerials.

Not anymore but played with friends a long time ago

Lucioball was my personal favorite, from Overwatch

I will try that. I started 2 weeks ago and now kind addicted to it. I am slowly getting a hand of kick offs made 3 goals right from kick offs.

I just need to get used to the ball in the air. Sometimes when it bounces from the walls I have to get used to timing a hit with a jump.

I been doing good but I been playing 3v3 and it's hard to really get control of the ball when everyone is just running into it.

Ive tried it when it first released but didn't touch it after playing for less than a hour. Maybe the new updates will give off a different experience.

I am not sure. I know it existed for years but I never owned a xbox one or any latest console. I don't have time to play video games and instead would rather program or make my own games.

I bought a used xbox one s that after 2 weeks the hard drive died on me. I had to get a new drive for it.

Anyways, I fixed it and got it working again had to install games my nephews play. I bought the console or my mom to watch movies online for free.
Also for my nephews when they come over to visit.

They showed me the rocket league game but for me the it looks lame or boring. I was pushed to play. After a couple of games online. The game grew on me. I don't like how it looks but it's fun after a while. It gets addicting. I would rather play a football or hockey game but for it to be free it ain't bad.

Hey there! To improve in Rocket League, focus on practicing your aerial skills and learning how to manage your boost effectively. Try watching tutorials online and practicing in free play mode to get the hang of it. Don't worry, with time and practice, you'll improve and be able to compete with those pro players. Good luck!

Rocket league is the most fun game you can play with the homies, if you ain't playing to win that is.
Otherwise, don't think it's too fun on the long run.

I focused on the competitive part years back and grinded all the way to Champ back when highest rank was Grand Champ.
Skill-Ceiling definitely changed, can't say I was having as much fun as playing with my friends.
