Tether Your Bags - Omniscient - Jan 13, 2025
So market taking a hit today. Do you take your bags and Tether them thinking more blood is going to be spilled? Or do you just hold for the ride. And I'm not talking about Bitcoin, more of the alts we've all accrued the past few months in this Bull Market. Looking now at what I have, it's still in profit, but the past has taught me that may not last much longer. The best way to protect that profit is to convert to Tether until the market stabilizes. FOMO is usually the reason people don't do this but it should at least be a consideration.
What are you gonna do if your holdings drop 25% over the next week?

Not yet, 85k Is the limit, that's when the weekly chart crossed to bearish territory. However cashing out now and waiting for 85k is also an option.

I don't have much. Some Sui and bought some AZero too. It's not even $2k worth. For me, I just hold my Bitcoin. The rest of the market is just a gamble and I don't like to gamble with my investments.

I ain't touching anything. Let it ride. as long as LTC gets back up to 100 soon, its fine.

Well BTC is different actually, it's the only one I feel comfortable holding because I know what will happen come next cycle unless there is some sort of macroeconomic event that impacts all markets come 3rd-4th quarter.

That $144 peak Dec 5 stings though. I have way too much LTC I am holding from that moment. I'm on the fence with taking the loss and Tether it all or put it into a forget-about-it wallet until LTC is $150.

I'm just holding, i have large amounts in crypto but in reality i don't need these funds anytime soon. I have plenty savings in the bank, cash and still have my income as i always have.
Why would i care what happens to my crypto regardless of how large my crypto portfolio is, i invested all of it a while ago with the intention of not looking at it cuz i simply don't need the funds but didn't know where else to hold majority of my money as i don't want it under my bed nor at the bank, and i don't want to risk getting robbed of my gold either, and i don't care for stocks much as i consider that the same as holding money in the bank when it comes too it.
So it's all in a cold wallet, hidden and nobody irl even knows i do anything in crypto anymore these days as i always say i stepped out of that scam market years ago after a huge loss (obviously not true).
FYI majority i have in BTC, LTC, SOL and BCH. Yep no ETH, i never liked ETH (so far).
Got some other altcoins but nothing worth mentioning.

It does indeed. But we knew it wasn't going to stay there. I just hope it doesn't barrel down towards the 60s & 70s we had it long time for.
I would be just holding it though. Not sure about you but I am not really bothered by all these ups & downs because in the end, its just going to sit there in my keystone to eternity 🤣

I've been taking profit at various milestones along the way this run, ensuring events like today, or worse, don't sting too badly. We could go to zero today and I'd walk away in the green.
With that being said, money has absolutely POURED into stable pools today, so I think a lot of people are taking safe haven in stables right now. Have watched a lot of my stablecoin APY's plummet today as a result.
