Automated Winner Selection - Member Contests - Clue - Jan 13, 2025
As many contests require you to chose a random winner based off a post - it would be pretty cool if there was a button on your thread that would allow Stanley to randomly select a poster and then @ them in the thread to say that they won.
Makes member contests fair, transparent and easier to manage.
I’m keen on this idea.

I'm curious to see what all specifics he'll be able to make applicable. Some people do contests where you can just post whatever and however many times. That would be sort of the bare minimum and easiest to have automated no doubt. However, sometimes people will require you to tag someone, wait X amount of time between posts, etc. I wonder how much of that kind of stuff is realistic to be automatically checked/verified when picking a winner. Even just the most basic of options would be better than nothing though.
