Problems with orcus server - IlyaDeev - Jan 15, 2025 I want to make an orcus rat server, but I only have a vps on ubuntu and an unnecessary laptop. In the local network, the server works correctly, but I tried to make an ssh connection from the laptop to the vps server and in the orcus admin program I entered the white ip of the vps server, while the ports were the same everywhere and in the orcus server program itself I listened to the local ip of the laptop. That is, there was an orcusa server on the laptop and with the help of vps I wanted to make it public, not local. With such actions, the admin program even tried to connect somewhere, but wrote the error "Authentication failed due to the closure of the transport stream by the remote side." Can I do something about this or am I doing the wrong thing? Uh, if I'm understanding you correctly, no, wait, I'm not. The server should be listening on the port as you indicate, not connecting to something else. SSH local port forwarding works for me with AsyncRAT (eventually), so I'd have to see if you're forwarding the port correctly. Checking if the port is open on the VPS should be the first step. On the vps, the port is definitely open and the port I need is listening. A connection was made on the laptop using the ssh -R port:127.0.0.1:port ip command, a client was created on the server under which I log in and connect, it seemed to me that maybe it was some kind of vps settings, something like security, maybe it wasn't that. |
