Looking for Sample Native Executable Files for Testing - loomixx - Feb 11, 2025 Hey everyone, I’m currently working on my crypter service and need some sample files to test compatibility. Since my project is still in development, I won’t be sending files back - stub is not ready yet, so currently it’s for testing purposes to check if certain executables load and run properly after processing. Requirements for Test Files: ✅ Native C/C++ Executables (No .NET, No Scripts) ✅ x64 Files preferred (But I can also test x86) ✅ Must Include a Description (What the file does, expected behavior, so I can know whether the file ran successfully) If you want to participate, send me PM with following format: • File: test.exe (link to file) • Description: A simple console app that prints “Hello, world!” If you have something I can use for testing, feel free to send it over. Thanks! RE: Looking for Sample Native Executable Files for Testing - loomixx - Feb 11, 2025 (Feb 11, 2025 02:20 AM)Lowkey Wrote: Are you not able to run tests on your own virtual machines? Or are you looking for what detects your file currently via outside anti-maelware? I am able to test, and I’ve already run tests on C/C++ executables compiled with MinGW-w64. However, as I mentioned, I want to test with other people’s sample files to ensure that the loader in my crypter can handle a variety of executables - not just ones compiled by me. Different compilers, linkers, and build environments can introduce variations, so broader testing helps improve compatibility. I hope that makes sense |
