Money talks B - Hackers - Feb 17, 2025 Love IT This is free trade / capitalism at its finest keep it up EU! I’m sure Musk will find a way to pretend this is illegal 😂 😂 This is what it looks like when the majority of the world sees the stupidity of something. I know MAGA thinks they’re very smart lmfao. Anyways, money talks B! More than I do too.
RE: Money talks B - Spikkeljuan - Feb 17, 2025 Are these percentages in purchases or what? I don't see it defined here. And also BYD is getting real populair in Europe lately due to their cheaper price, price per performance and build quality. This is also a contributor to their declining sales. I agree, Tesla had to make some changes regarding the design of the Y model because of competitive brands such as BYD who have better designs But I'm not worried for Tesla RE: Money talks B - Hackers - Feb 17, 2025 (Feb 17, 2025 10:06 AM)Spikkeljuan Wrote: Are these percentages in purchases or what? Yeah I believe purchase orders compared to last year I’ve been critical of Tesla for years. I don’t think their technology comes close to other companies, such as Waymo. Tesla vehicles experience more deadly accidents, more breakdowns, and more issues than many other car companies. And they cost more! In fact they say Tesla is one of the most dangerous brands of vehicles you can drive. Statistically their fatal accidents are more frequent than others. RE: Money talks B - .Pazuzu - Feb 17, 2025 Yup I'm in the UK and know of 2 people who have gotten rid of their Teslas, I mean my one friend literally had the frame of the door peeling back from the factory, and on top of that he had to get it serviced a dozen times in 2 years which is ridiculous. Don't think the shift is political for my friends, but they've gone from raving about Tesla to realising how poor the build quality is Never seen a BYD irl, but looking forward to the next car meet to ask around about them RE: Money talks B - Hackers - Feb 17, 2025 (Feb 17, 2025 10:45 AM).Pazuzu Wrote: Yup I'm in the UK and know of 2 people who have gotten rid of their Teslas, I mean my one friend literally had the frame of the door peeling back from the factory, and on top of that he had to get it serviced a dozen times in 2 years which is ridiculous. Yeah I know a few people who would say the same. Quality sucks! Also the interior quality is downright egregiously bad. The electronics on some of the models are completely fucked. Everything's connected to each other & if one thing fails, the car fails basically. TLSA is a very overpriced stock, but I have made money on it and bought it previously. RE: Money talks B - Epic - Feb 17, 2025 I've got a friend of a friend who sold his Tesla and plans to buy an electric Ford or a Rivian. More and more company's have full EV's now which made the selection way bigger for consumers. We shouldn't forget that 10 years ago you only could choose between a Hybrid or a Tesla for full electric. Also governments have been reducing the amount of privileges (like tax cuts) you can get when you drive full electric. Tesla definitely did a good job of boosting this industry, bringing in investments, etc. I think it's time for other companies to steal EV/Hybrid marketshare from Tesla for sure, but we can thank the hard working engineers/employees at Tesla for making it happen over the last decade or so. You're right that they were a huge part of it. RE: Money talks B - Flan. - Feb 17, 2025 Ah yes, capitalism—the golden goose of freedom, unless it honks at the wrong billionaire. Suddenly, free trade is a hostile takeover, and competition is a deep-state sorcery spell designed to sabotage genius. It’s like watching a raccoon declare itself the CEO of a trash can, only to get mad when other raccoons show up with better trash. At what point do they stop juggling conspiracy theories like flaming watermelons and just admit they tripped over their own shoelaces? RE: Money talks B - RootRXXT - Feb 17, 2025 Ol mate Musk in the fire line again RE: Money talks B - Pr0m3th3us - Feb 17, 2025 (Feb 17, 2025 10:06 AM)Spikkeljuan Wrote: Are these percentages in purchases or what? Its prob all fake, most "stats" are inflated just to show the bias of the media company reporting it. Same with political polls. What a joke. In my area i have seen teslas explode on the road, damn things are everywhere. Money definitely has a way of influencing decisions. RE: Money talks B - Epic - Feb 18, 2025 (Feb 17, 2025 08:14 PM)Foxxy Proxies Ltd Wrote: Why do you turn everything into something political? Since Elon is essentially a politician now, most things that he ends up doing will be scrutinized under a political lense by a majority of people. People protesting/boycotting Elon because of his involvement in US politics, is in fact, a political issue |
